Rudong wind farm, which is currently under construction, is China’s first ±400KV VSC-HVDC transmission offshore wind power project. It contains a VSC-HVDC cable with the highest transmission capacity and longest transmission distance in China. The wind farm will serve as a model for the development and construction of high-capacity domestic offshore wind farms.
